1. EPF PROTÉGÉ PROGRAMME

On-the-job training and upskilling opportunities:

Learn how to create a seamless customer experience through direct practical exposure

Gain operational and back-end processes knowledge

Participate in training/courses to improve soft skills to enhance capabilities


2. DEPUTY MANAGER | STRATEGIC ASSET ALLOCATION

Job Description:

Conduct studies on investment strategies and asset allocations in order to achieve optimal returns on EPF investment by taking into account the risk and return profile for each asset class, economic and capital market development in a complete and timely manner.

Conduct ongoing research on EPF long term investment strategy through collaboration with appointed consultants within the allotted time given.
Review and analyze the effectiveness and any implications of any proposed improvements or changes to the existing EPF operating model on the EPF’s long-term strategies and investment operations.

Conduct a detailed analysis and evaluation on potential new investment mandates categorized as opportunistic which are beyond the existing asset class under approved SAA.

Conduct a periodic benchmarking analysis on Long Term Capital Market Assumptions (LTCMA) used for EPF SAA as compared to LTCMA and inputs from other investment institutions.

Conduct a periodic benchmarking on any changes in asset allocation of other funds and investment institutions (domestic and global) along with comparative investment performance.

Conduct an ongoing study on the impact of economic outlook, capital market and changes on current accounting policies towards EPF investment performance as well as identify any possibilities that may prevent EPF from achieving its long-term investment objectives. The scope also includes details leading to Shariah and Conventional portfolios and implications on EPF Simpanan Shariah and Simpanan Konvensional performance.

Other matters covering EPF investment aspects as directed by Management from time to time including projects such as MFRS 9.

Overview Of The EPF

The EPF is a social security institution formed according to the Laws of Malaysia, Employees Provident Fund Act 1991 (Act 452) which provides retirement benefits for members through management of their savings in an efficient and reliable manner. The EPF also provides a convenient framework for employers to meet their statutory and moral obligations to their employees.
